Today I had my 1 hr glucose test, to test for gestational diabetes.
They also took blood and urine for other stuff too.
So it went like this...I went in she took like 4 vials of blood. Then I had to drink this drink, it was like orange soda and then had to wait an hour. During that hour I gave urine sample and then at the end they took 1 more vial of blood.
All in all it went well, I had heard horror stories about the drink, but I didn't find it bad at all. So now we just have to cross our fingers and pray I passed the 1 hr test, or I have to do 3 hr test.
