August 4th

So after the 5 am feedings, I slept until 8:30. I got up to say good bye to my ILs and play with my boys. John had a nasty poopy diaper, that Aunt Lindsay offered to change...it was a 5 wipe once haha!
Once my ILs left the boys were up until they at at almost 10, at the same time of course. Then they both slept really well until about 2:30...this spells trouble sleeping so good during the day. I'm actually so tired today (Tuesday) writing this that I'm having a hard time remembering what happened yesterday.
Anyways while the boys were sleeping great, I had a moment of weakness and decided that it would be a good idea to go home for the week of our county fair...John decided we would buy a camper to do it. I told my dad we would be there.
Then 30 minutes later the boys were screaming...what was I thinking. I really was having second thoughts and still am, but I told my dad we would be there and really do want to go, just not sure how it's going to play out.
Anyways...the boys pretty much ate and slept yesterday. Once John got home, they decided it was time to divide and conquer and were fussy all night long. At bed time I should have followed my gut and set up my little operation on the pull out couch, but John assured me that it would be ok. So we went to bed at 10 ish...I didn't sleep at all. John was fussing, Luke was fussing...until finally at 11:30 when they were both awake and hungry. John says I had a breakdown...well I was tired and he had at least gotten an hour or so of sleep because he's out when his head hits the pillow haha.
He fed Luke for me at 11:30 even though he wasn't due to eat until 12:30, Luke had other plans.
I slept until 2:30...those 3 hours of sleep saved me haha! I fed John and then Luke was settled only briefly. I forget when but I had fed John and gotten Luke settled, but he ended up in bed with John and John with me. I was able to get Luke off John and transfer him into his crib sometime in the wee hours of the morning.
The Luke ate at 4:45 (almost 6 hours, but that's because he ended up back in bed with me). Then John was up haha. We all ended up in bed together and slept from 5-8:30.
