The boys were fussy and I ended up being up with them until about 2:30.
They both were awake shortly after that around 3:30 and weren't due to eat until 5 so they came to bed with us.
They sleep so good in bed with us, little boogers.
So we fed them at like 5:30 and 6 and all fell asleep again.
At about 8 they were both fussy again, but we got them calmed down and sleeping. I knew they needed baths before their trip to the doc this morning and hated the idea of waking them up.
We were able to get out of bed and let them sleep together...they just love to feel someone next to them.
All reports came back good...two beautifully healthy babies.
Luke weighs 9 lbs 1 oz and is 21.5 inches long. He is still on an adjusted growth chart for his age (takes into account he was 6 weeks early) but given that he is in the 42% for his weight and 60% for his height...he is long and not real pudgy.
John weighs in at 11 lbs 9 oz and 22.8 inches long. He is no longer on an adjusted chart so he is in the 37% for his weight and 31% for his height.
Once they were weighed, we had to wait for the doctor....
Little Luke...
Then they were given a once over and everyone is doing great, some encouragement that they should start sleeping longer at night, gosh I hope so!
Then it was time for what we all were dreading for different reasons. The shots! I was worried about how my babies were going to feel, John more concerned with the possible outcomes of the vaccines and long term effects.
They screamed and hollered but all in all faired very well. We got home and after much fussing took a little nap and then more fussing and a bottle and now they are napping again.
Just a good measure in size difference...
Sweet little Luke...

Oh my goodness, I could just eat them up!
That is amazing that John is already on the regular charts! My girls are slowly creeping up on the regular charts but they are only 5-10% on them and they are 7 months old! And, we're excited by that, because they used to be 3-5%, and before that, 0-3% lol.
