A little behind...

So Wednesday was much the same as Monday and Tuesday, nothing eventful as we are fairly boring.
Some exciting changes with the boys: they're starting to make noises, John loves to hear himself so he is constantly cooing, and Luke is beginning to start to coo more too.
John is awake most of the day now and is sleeping well. In fact last night he slept almost 7 hours! And Mr. Luke went from his regular 4 hours to 6 last night! So while it may have been a fluke they are definitely improving. In a normal night, John goes 6 and Luke goes 4, but that is fine by me. They are sleeping better...John passes out after his evening bottle and then sleeps in his crib the 6 hours until he is hungry again. He doesn't nap much during the day, but that is alright because he is such a delight, full of smiles and silly little things.

Luke is still sleeping a whole bunch, and still is having a hard time with the crib. I can't put them together because Luke wakes John and he's sleeping so well I don't want to ruin that. But I think Luke needs someone, he normally ends up in bed with us, which when he does he sleeps like a champ.
Not to be out done, John is an excellent sleeper as well...

Last night we went out shopping for baptism outfits and had no luck. The boys are so good though, they love riding in their stroller so it makes life easy.
Today I ventured out alone with the boys to look for outfits again, we ended up getting ones we saw yesterday in Babies R Us. Luke was wide awake the whole time we were out, which was a treat because he was also happy. He flirted with just about every person in the store who bothered to stop and look at him. Smiling and smiling away at everyone.
He's got them fooled.
With John being awake more, I'm able to get him to play more, his tummy time goes well...no more puking! He's trying really hard to crawl, but it will be a while yet. Luke loves playing as well, though does not enjoy tummy time quiet as much as John. But he'll get there. They'll be on the go sooner than we realize I think!

...Luke's still has a little bit of trouble holding his head up, but that's just fine, he loves to snuggle with mommy! Well they both do. I try not to compare them...I have realized if John does something, Luke will be at that point about 2 weeks later. So no big deal....Luke still examines things much more than John does. John seems like he's going to be a carefree spirit. Luke is our little professor. He tends to stare at things....

John also loves tub time...I was trying to get a picture of the fact that he fell asleep in the tub, but he opened his eyes just as I was taking the picture....


John has discovered his thumb...he sucks it in an odd way, but hey when he can't find that binkie it will do in a pinch.
We have no Labor Day weekend plans, my plan is to get caught up on laundry and get the house cleaned, maybe if the weather stays nice we'll all go for a walk.
