Growing....

So I'll recap Friday and Saturday, but first some new pictures from this week.

Wednesday night John had to go to a funeral so I was on my own to bathe the boys. Little John's first day of work with mommy was obviously tiring.
This is how he was as I set him on the counter to undress him for his bath.

And here he is in the bath...he stayed that way for a good 5 minutes.

Friday -
So I didn't work today..I'll be working Mon, Wed, & Thursday for a few hours a day.
It was nice that we could just be lazy today and boy were they ever lazy. Why can't they sleep this good at the office...is beyond me. But we had a nice relaxing evening and we all went to bed fairly early.

As it starts to cool off the boys have started to wear big boy jammies!



Saturday -
The boys had a doctor's appointment today. Clean bill of health and they got measured....

Previoulsy Luke was on an adjusted chart but now he is on the regular chart.
He weighs 11 lbs 15 oz...not quite 12 (that's the 11th percentile) His height is 22.5 inches (less than 3%) And head circumference is 38.8 cm (less than 3%). So he's got some catching up to do but he is pudging out.

John is doing very well.
He weighs 14 lbs 15 oz (70%), height is 24.5 in (54%) and head circumference is 41 cm (32%). He is such a big boy.
As he waits for the doctor...just needs his hand in his diaper and a beer...


The boys are definitely growing...Luke is finally out of Newborn clothes and is into 0-3 months. John is out of 0-3 month, can wear some stuff marked 3 month, but is fitting into 6 month stuff, and it's not huge on him!

After the doctor's appointment, I got a chance to get away and do some shopping for some much needed supplies. Then we spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying a lazy day and watching PSU get another win!

For Aunt Lindsay...a cow outfit (if I remember correctly she got this for them) Sorry but John just wouldn't smile. Probably because though marked 3 months, Mr. Big boy John is too big for these jammies!

Yes John looks mad, he was mad because I moved them to get this photo and he couldn't see Luke any more. He has taken interest in this strange thing that is here with him. He stares at Luke whenever he can....Luke isn't interested at all in him, which is upsetting as well.

I must end this post by saying...sorry Vinny but I decided to go for USC and it is 9:35 and it appears that USC is getting it done. OSU maybe over-rated?
