Happy Easter...

So again it has been a while since I've updated...these 2 are keeping me busier every day!

The boys are doing great, getting bigger all the time!
I actually weighed them today...John is 21.75lbs and Luke is 19.5lbs. They feel much heavier! The teeth count is 4 for John (though one is barely through) and he is getting his other 2 top teeth. Luke still only has his bottom 2. He has developed a rather strange anomaly on his gum, he has a spot that is very purple. After much research online and calling the pedi, I am told that it is likely the tooth has burst a blood vessel as it is coming in, however we have yet to see any tooth. As of now it isn't bothering him at all, though I'm sort of concerned, so we'll be keeping on eye on it and possibly taking him in to see the doctor just to be sure.

In other news, I think I posted last time, but John is getting closer and closer to crawling. He is really getting around the living room, though I don't think he is going anywhere he wants to go, he just sort of army crawls around with no direction in mind. Luke can sort of wiggle around, but not as good as John. Since John has started to show interest in crawling, he has also become an expert roller, which was of some concern to me, as the boys really don't like to roll, but John is a pro now, and he can get up on all fours, so he'll be moving in no time!
Luke however not to be out done! has been trying to stand more and more. I find him very often pulling up on to his knees at the coffee table, and just the other day he had one foot up too, but he lost his balance when trying to get the second foot up.

John is now a belly sleeper, he almost every night ends up on his belly even though he starts the night on his back. Luke still has some sleeping issues, but it is improving. Hopefully we'll be sleeping through the night some time soon!

Some pictures from last week...the boys were sporting some new outfits from Grandma M.

My smiling boy....though it's always an open mouth smile...
Luke was very interested in the Truck on John's shirt about every single picture I took of them he was checking out the truck..

Finally looking at the camera!
Duck face!
The boys are both great at holding their bottles now, in fact, they don't really like you to hold it for them any more...frees up some time for me!

The boys love boxes!
Luke just always wants to be in the other box...

Peek-a-boo! Mr. Blue eyes

This one shows John's top teeth, those he has and those he's getting...might have to make it bigger to really see.

He loves to pull his socks off with his teeth!

Silly Face...

Mr. Luke...Mr. Roundface...
The boys played outside one day while Daddy tried to dig out a stump...they were giving him encouraging words the whole time!

The boys sitting on the front steps...

Mr. Luke

Mr. John

A random flower growing along the side of our house...very cute!
So I attempted to take the boys to see the Easter Bunny...however when we got to the mall the Easter Bunny was on a break, no big deal we just walked around for a bit. Well the Easter Bunny was walking through the mall back from said break...and Luke was in the front of the stroller just laughing and kicking and waving his arms very excited to see the big bunny. So bunny approached...well John flipped out! So alas we didn't go see the Easter Bunny. He even was giving the guy his sideways glance as we walked back by the bunny area haha.

So instead, I went to Wal-Mart got myself an Easter Bunny and here are some pictures...
I must say it is getting harder and harder to get them both to cooperate at the same time!

John...

Luke
Something was funny or perhaps it was funny that Luke was trying to pull the bunny's nose off!

So last year I got a "cow bunny" for John and the boys loved him!

Luke and his cute faces!

John, I swear, a smile is hard to come by with him...

Then we played with Easter eggs!

Then Luke had a meltdown, over what I'm still not sure, but John is still very happy!

Luke in his true form haha

Luke feeling a bit better...

Then I took them out of their clothes and Luke was having a meltdown, but John was being funny...

He likes to squeeze his love handles haha!

That's all for now! We are all doing well. The boys and I enjoy our days at home, though some days, I wish I was the one going to work haha! But all in all it is good. John is doing good...he has a new project right now...the "Red Pioneer" or as I call it... "Sasquatch" It is his "beater" vehicle for our friend's bachelor party. So that the Jeep doesn't end up at the Jeep hospital again!

I hope everyone has a Happy Easter! We will not be traveling! It is soo nice to just be able to stay home and relax and enjoy the weekend.
