A long overdue update!

So let's go way back to the end of July!

The boys love love love to play in their toy box....
Luke officially started walking around the end of July, beginning of August (video at the end)

Luke's new favorite thing...Hats! He loves them, likes to wear them backwards, and the bigger the better (they're easier to put on that way).

Cutie pies!

John passed out one day, too cute!
See...Daddy's hat is best!
The boys got their first taste of....

Blueberry Pancakes!!!!

Mommy thinks she can get us to sit still for pictures hahaha!
Naked babies!

So around the time of our last trip, John was starting to get some teeth, they are both now getting molars! John has 3 popping through, one very far in. And Luke has about 2...he won't let you look in his mouth. John is also getting his final front tooth!

August 14th -
So it was time to pack everyone up and head out for another adventure. We drove late in to the night to arrive at John's parents so we could attend the Washington County Fair for a few days!

It was hot and sunny! John using daddy's shades!
Luke checking out a tractor!!!! He is in love with tractors, at the Harford Fair while hanging out in the arena, he chased one down the arena haha.
John and Luke checking out the tractor....John trying to drive!
Luke waiting for Daddy and Aunt Lindsay to compete in the Hay-hauling contest.
Aunt Lindsay stacking and Daddy tossing the hay.

"Nice load" - sarcasm
John making a friend...
Luke peaking as always...

Aunt Lindsay and Daddy showing some heifers!
Luke passed out after a long fun day at the fair watching Aunt Lindsay show

The end of our final day at the Washington County Fair.

Then on Wednesday, August 19th we drove all the way across Pennsylvania (it's a long state, in case you didn't realize it, it took us about 8 hours). But we made it to the Harford Fair!

Uncle Mark and Luke in their Arena Crew shirts!
John in his shirt!
That's our entertainment agent, Melody with John.
Daddy and Luke!
The whole Arena Crew fam!
The boys enjoying the open freedom!
Luke is an expert walker now!
The boys with Granny at Farmer for a Day, they weren't too sure of the cow.

That goat is going to eat him! They loved the animals, Luke more so than John. I didn't get as many pictures as I hoped, so here are the best ones.
John petting the cow.
John checking out the sheep. We came back and visited, Rocky quite a few times, he was super friendly and Luke and John both enjoying petting him.
Luke enjoying the skid-loader!
Another tractor!
John loved it too!
We need this mommy!
Strapped in for safety!
We went and watched my nieces show their cows in an open showmanship class...

Here's Kate with some help from big sister Jamie.
Here's Ryan with help from Daddy!
Jamie showing her calf. She can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe in the 4-H show she got grand champion for her division!
John having fun with Aunt Diane during the show.
Emily won her age division! Good Job Emily!
The fair queen, Carol with John. She was an awesome fair queen did a great job and tried tons of new things. And the boys were in love with her! It didn't hurt that she had tons of shiny things on.
Robert showing in the "retired" age group...he got 3rd.
Aunt Diane and John...they were having a very intense conversation.

Luke loved the goats much to mommy's dismay! But he roamed all over the goat area petting any goat who was willing.
John liked them too!
He tried giving hugs!
The final night is the demo derby...this was the sunset before hand...just beautiful!

So all in all we had a great time. I got to meet some people that John had been talking about for a long time at John's fair (all good don't worry people). Was nice to finally put a face with the name. I enjoyed going to their fair, wish we could have stayed longer...they really need to be different weeks. I enjoyed going to my fair, it was much easier this year than last, the boys soo enjoyed having the freedom to roam around as much as possible. Was nice to see everyone again, and I had fun working demo! So now that the boys are almost 15 months, I've got 2 walkers and tons of teeth coming in! Luke says "ma" it means something just aren't sure what. Most often says it when we say the cow says mooo. He also waves bye/hi sometimes. And says yea. But not always when you want him too haha. John has tons to say just can't figure out what any of it is. They make each other laugh constantly, and us too. Their smiles are getting bigger and bigger everyday. And John makes the funniest faces.

Some videos to end with....

Here's a montage of the two of them walking, from the past month...it's long.

This video is to show even an Engineer doesn't always have it all figured it. It was funny and well worth it. He did get it moved with the wheels under it, only it was too dark for me to get video of that, but not as exciting as this so.... Excuse my commentary haha!

So that's my udpate...I promise to keep up more diligently.

If you get a chance go look at Kayla's blog...she is starting to walk! www.kaylas-grace.blogspot.com She continues to need all the thoughts and prayers you have. She is improving, it is just going to be a long road. I would like to thank all at the Harford Fair who donated money to help out Kayla and the family.
