We've been very busy! John is working on projects for Christmas and just work in general. I have been working on a special secret present for John, that I'm not sure will be done in time for Christmas, but fingers crossed.
So first, I'll start with some pictures taken while trying to get some Christmas pictures for our Christmas card!
The boys are up to their usual antics. They are in to climbing EVERYTHING. The other day I went to change a load of laundry and came back to John on the dining room table! Yep they can get on the chairs now, so all hope is lost! And when you get them down, they think it's a big fun game oh boy! We are in trouble! They are obviously tearing around this place like no tomorrow, hard to believe they just started walking in like July and now they are running around here like old pros!
No words yet, but I think we'll see an explosion in the coming weeks. They both babble on like they are saying something, so who knows. Luke does say dada and sometimes does mean Daddy. And he also says ha for hot. Luke also picks up on every little thing we say. And also is very good at doing things we ask him to do, like go get that toy and such...but only when he's in the mood! The funniest is when John is getting ready to go outside, Luke grabs his boots and brings them to him, gets his hat, and then the coat, he knows what daddy needs to go outside!
John is so in to reading books, I think he would sit half the day and read books. We try not to have the tv on when they are awake...John LOVES commercials lol! So he gets very involved in the tv when it's on.
On Friday they had their 18 month appointment.
My boys are getting so big!
John:
Height: 33 inches - 65%
Weight: 25lbs 9oz - 44%
Head: 48.3 cm - 61%
A year ago he weighed 7lbs less and was 6 inches shorter!
Luke:
Height: 32 inches - 36%
Weight: 22lb 2oz - 7%
Head: 47 cm - 25%
A year ago he weighed 7lbs less and was 6 inches shorter!
Ironic they are continuing to grow at the same rate!
Today it is SNOWING! We could get anywhere from 12-24 inches! I'm so excited. I figure tomorrow once the snow has stopped we'll bundle the boys all up in their snow gear and go outside! Should be a fun time!
