Sunday Review 11/6/11

8 Things about our week!

1. The boys seem to take turns coming in to bed with me early every morning. One day, it was John's turn...this is him still passed out about an hour after Luke woke up.

2. John had a rough week...first Luke kicked him in the eye. The rest to come later.

3.  Luke is goofy, he has been saying he is "drinky" when he is thirsty.  He's such a funny little dude.  Both boys say the funniest things these days.   John's funny is he will ask you a question, that he knows the answer to, but I'll say "I don't know" and he says "I don't know either."  I think it's cute and funny.

4.  A rare moment, John snuggling with daddy!

5.  The boys enjoying the sunshine on the swings!  Sporting their Steelers gear!

6.  28 weeks 2 days!

7.  Diaster strikes...Today, John fell outside and got this nasty splinter in his hand.  Blurry but icky all the same!

After John attempted to pull it out with twizers, cut it in half and then try to pull it out again, we decided it was time to go to the ER.  We were in and out of the ER in 50 minutes!  I know they try and get kids through pretty quick, and I'm pretty sure John's screaming helped a little bit ha!  It took 2 nurses and John and I to pin him down.  Once the doctor numbed it he relaxed a bit but he still wasn't happy!  He pulled one part out with much stronger twizers, wasn't super easy but fairly easy and then had to use the scapel to cut the other part out.

He got a popsicle and a bunch of stickers...so did Luke LOL!  Oh and if you look closely at this picture you will notice the egg on John's head...yea that's from him falling out of his bed, not sure what he did, tried to roll over?  Leaned against the blanket that was making the cave?  who knows but he ended up with a big egg on his head lol, poor guy! (that was earlier in the week) BTW it's 6pm and he was out cold at 5:30 tonight.  Oh and all the red around his lips...not the popsicle, he stuck a block thing to his mouth and pulled it off, resulting in popped blood vessels around his lips (early this morning)...ugh...poor dude!

8.  The boys are no longer in high chairs and have moved to the table with us!  Night one...didn't go too bad.

John trying it out earlier in the day.
