August 16th

The boys didn't sleep real great last night, we all fell asleep in the living room, Luke woke me up at about midnight ready to eat. So I got both boys up to eat and John got up off the floor where he had fallen asleep and went to bed.
Luke powered down, but John was too sleepy to be interested. I feel asleep with John in his boppy and Luke laying on me. At about 2ish, John woke up hungry, so I put Luke in his crib and fed John. Well you all should know by now that Luke screamed, thankfully John got up and got him and took him to bed with him. John and I slept on the couch, I think at some point, John came in and fed Luke in the living room at about 4, not sure.
I woke up at 7ish with John and we went back to bed with John and Luke. Boy I hope you follow the double Johns haha. I made John's bottle and let John fed him so I could get a shower.
After my shower, I fell asleep for a good 30 minutes, that was nice! Then I got ready and me and the boys took off to Target to gather some last minute things for our trip home.

When I was leaving Target, I noticed a little boy in a car (at most 5), no adult in the car, no windows down, yes it was only about 9 am but still.... And then I noticed the infant in the car as well! I was about ready to turn the stroller around and go in and complain to a Target employee but the mom walked out. Funnier yet, I noticed the toddler was bouncing around and had no car seat or booster, but mom had one in the shopping cart. So okay she has left the kids in the car, one has no safe seat, but she's got one in the cart...she's making some effort. I see her take it out of the box, I assume to put it in the back seat for the toddler. No she sticks it in the front seat, the only reason I guess she took it out of the box was so it would fit! Some people shouldn't be allowed to have kids. I should have said something, but realized she was beyond help.
Next we had to run into Lowes...at most I was going to be in there 5 minutes (no I didn't leave the boys in the car), but I left the diaper bag behind. As we are waiting for lady to be ready so I can return something, John threw up all over himself. I discreetly cleaned him up with my shirt haha... Ugh..so I quickly returned my item, bought what John needed and we headed for the car. I put Luke in the car and then John and tended to cleaning John up better. I finish up and look up only to see the stroller rolling away! Thank god I had put Luke in the car before John, and I swear I set the break! Ugh what a morning!
So the rest of the day was to be spent packing and John finishing up things on the camper, we thought if we got everything done we could leave by 3..its 11 and we are leaving tomorrow morning. Things just took longer, John couldn't finish what he wanted because it was supposed to rain this morning (which it didn't) but he was coating the roof and it needs 24 hour cure time. And the boys just had other things in mind then letting me get work done.
At 7 we did bath, bottles, book, and bed. I put them in their cribs...it lasted maybe 5 minutes. John was first up and crying, he's now sound asleep in his boppy. Then about 5 minutes later Luke was up to, and he's sound asleep in the swing...I'm not moving them.
