Last post was from a week ago Saturday.
Sunday - Tuesday
Not much has happened. The boys went to work with my on Monday and Tuesday...they are such good boys. It is getting easier to get work done, yet at the same time, they want to be held more, I can't blame them for that one bit.
Luke is a big boy now he can sit up in the bumpo!
On Sunday, we went for a walk at the beach...it was a nice day!
Luke was still not sleeping through the night (STTN), so Tuesday night I had a suggestion from another wonderful twin mommy (Nora) to try the swaddle. Luke had hated the swaddle when he was little but I was willing to try anything.
So Tuesday night I swaddled Luke up and hoped for the best. We were leaving for my in-laws on Wednesday, so a good night sleep was really needed.
It worked! He slept through the night until about 5 the next morning.
Wednesday -
I spent all morning packing up and trying to be ready for when John got home at noon to leave. We left by about 12:30/1...the boys ride so well. They only get restless towards the end of the trip. We got to my in-laws about 10:30. The boys enjoyed some time stretching it out on the living room floor, looking at their grandma, grandpa, and Aunt for a little while before we called it a night.
Thursday -
The boys and I just enjoyed a nice relaxing day. They were tired and it was good to just let them hang out and stretch. John came extremely close to rolling over! I mean extremely close, he'll have it in a few more days! John hung out with mommy.
Friday - Halloween!!!! The boys didn't have costumes, but they had some Halloween outfits.
Saturday - Was the wedding, sorry no cute pictures of the boys in their shirts and dress shirts. So the ceremony was very nice...Congrats to Julie and Chris. We got to the reception, and I realized I had forgotten the boys bottles...I had formula and the water but no bottles. John went to Target and got some bottles (he was back in record time). We ended up not staying as long as we would have liked because it was just a bit too loud for the boys.
Sunday - The boys ended up getting their bottles mixed up by mommy and daddy. John didn't seem to care, but Luke ended up being extremely fussy with a bit of a tummy ache. He cried for what seemed like forever for me, until daddy got home, he loves his daddy! So the boys didn't make it to church, thanks to some fussiness. They had a few visitors in the afternoon, and spent the rest of the day just relaxing!
Monday - was our trip home. The boys were really good! They are becoming such good travelers.
John in his car seat!
